About the Role:

We are building cutting-edge GenAI capabilities for Lenovo's cloud software division's core platform, which powers various cloud solutions.

You will work with user, device, and services data and micro-services to power GenAI applications, driving innovation and growth in the industry.

The data and services you shape will be used to power AI capabilities of the core platform, enabling various cloud solutions for the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor junior engineers and help grow their technical skills, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Optimize GenAI pipelines and models to improve quality, reduce computational time, and minimize costs, ensuring efficient and effective AI solutions.
  • Work with business partners to understand business and product objectives, identify and define the right AI problems that need to be solved, and develop strategic solutions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary, globally distributed team of professionals, leveraging diverse perspectives and expertise to drive success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or related technical field, with a strong foundation in programming and software development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java, with experience in large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD practices, and testing, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of AI solutions.
  • Experience working with large datasets, data preprocessing, and data augmentation, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision making.

Additional qualifications include a Master's degree in computer science, experience with cloud-based AI platforms, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, driving innovation and growth in the industry.
