Drafting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team at Quality Drafting Company, LLC. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed shop drawings, estimating costs and materials, and supervising other drafting personnel.

• Shop Drawing Creation: Develop detailed shop drawings for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
• Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, providing detailed breakdowns and recommendations.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior drafting personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring that all work meets our high standards.

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
• Experience: 5 years or more of experience in drafting, preferably in the steel industry.
• Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, such as Tekla, and strong knowledge of drafting principles and practices.
• Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and a team player.
