Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team on a weekend shift. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various machinery and equipment, as well as fabricating items using various welding techniques. If you have a strong background in mechanical and hydraulic systems, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing various machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Fabricate items using various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding.
  • Operate machines, including lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic problems, and identify and record any issues related to the product, process, and quality system.
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of duties performed.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Recognized Certificate of Qualification.
  • 3+ years' experience working as a licensed millwright.
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Good working knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical presses, welding, and milling machines.
