Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cash Office Clerk to join our team at Loblaw Companies. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing cash transactions, and supporting the Bookkeeper in scheduling and administration tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our valued customers
  • Process cash deposits, cheques, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Support the Bookkeeper in scheduling and administration tasks, including payroll and benefits administration
  • Assist in the analysis of cashier productivity reports and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure pricing integrity by assisting with item file data management and price changes
  • Provide assistance with store administration, including weekly accounting, invoice payment and reconciliation, and bank statements
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of cashier experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of critical success factors for the no frills concept
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work with minimal functional direction and be detail-oriented
  • Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings
