Position Description

The Department of Mechanical, Industrial, and Aerospace Engineering at Concordia University invites applications for a three-year Extended Term Appointment (ETA) faculty position in the area of Industrial Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching core undergraduate Industrial Engineering courses and contributing to the development of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach core undergraduate Industrial Engineering courses, including quality control, probability and statistics for engineers, discrete-event simulation, and other relevant topics.
  • Develop and deliver course content, including curriculum design and evaluation.
  • Supervise students' project work and contribute to Department and program administration.
  • Implement CEAB Graduate Attributes and contribute to the implementation of academic programs.
Qualifications and Assets

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering or a similar discipline. Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec, is required. Industrial experience will be a definite asset.
