About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cook's Helper at Seasons Retirement Communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare meals for residents and guests, ensuring dietary needs are met and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Operate and maintain food production equipment and food preparation areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Comply with all food preparation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
  • Wash, clean, and store dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparation and service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our dining services.
Requirements
  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory for all employees.
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certification is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds, with a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Experience working in a kitchen environment is considered an asset.
