Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Linda Vista Motel. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and common areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closet
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Provide basic information on facilities
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers

Requirements:

  • Will train
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
