The Role

This Temporary Hourly PT long-assignment position requires a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform laboratory tests and procedures using established protocols and guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality, communicating effectively with colleagues, and exercising independent judgment in decision-making.Operates instruments that are often computer integrated and networked and uses computerized information systems. Compares test results to pre-established criteria and makes decisions regarding the reportability of results, exercising independent judgment. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times as deemed essential by professional standards.
