Our company is seeking a highly skilled Fundamental Analysis Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Analyst, Research, North American Corporate Bonds, you will undertake fundamental research of public companies in North America and provide investment recommendations to portfolio managers.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a high-performance team and contribute to the public corporate bond portfolio investment strategy. You will cover industries belonging to various North American benchmark bond indexes (FTSE, BBG) and give recommendations on value-added credit strategies to meet clients' needs and outperform benchmarks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting or a related field, advanced knowledge of fundamental analysis, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and vendors.
As a member of our team, you will integrate ESG criteria into the fundamental analysis and investment decision-making processes. You will design and validate financial measures related to companies, analyze their financial statements and quantify the credit risk. You will also share your opinion regarding the fundamentals of the issuers under your responsibility and ensure they are monitored.
Your duties will include meeting and discussing with managers from issuing companies and their representatives, attending conferences, seminars and other events in North America to keep abreast of industry trends, analyzing market trends and their potential impacts on the various industries and issuers in the portfolios, following credit spreads of public corporate bonds and analyzing various relations to help outperform benchmarks, contributing to US portfolio development strategies, preparing presentations for the Investment Committee, external clients and various partners, developing and maintaining a network of securities brokers, external analysts, credit agencies and other capital market stakeholders, and working with a multidisciplinary team of investment, actuarial, accounting, compliance and risk monitoring professionals.
