Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Fitness Professional to join our team at Devi Projects Ltd. As a Fitness Professional, you will be responsible for planning and carrying out recreational, fitness and sports activities, demonstrating and instructing athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques, and maintaining and repairing sports equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Carry Out Recreational, Fitness and Sports Activities: Develop and implement fitness programs for individuals and groups, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Demonstrate and Instruct Athletic, Fitness or Sports Activities and Techniques: Teach and demonstrate various athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques, providing guidance and feedback to participants.
  • Maintain and Repair Sports Equipment: Ensure that all sports equipment is in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit reports on program participation, attendance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Leading/Instructing Groups and Individuals: Lead and instruct groups and individuals in various fitness and sports activities, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Provide Lifestyle Awareness Information: Educate participants on the importance of healthy lifestyle choices, providing information on nutrition, exercise, and stress management.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations Are Followed: Ensure that all participants follow safety guidelines and regulations, providing emergency or first aid assistance when needed.
  • Assemble Supplies, Sports and Game Equipment: Gather and prepare all necessary equipment and supplies for programs and activities.
  • Monitor Recreational, Sports or Fitness Activities to Ensure Safety: Continuously monitor programs and activities to ensure participant safety, intervening as needed to prevent accidents or injuries.

Requirements:

  • CPR Certificate: Possess a current CPR certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate: Possess a current first aid certificate.
  • Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus, prioritizing participant needs and satisfaction.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to changing program needs and circumstances.
  • Judgement: Exercise sound judgement, making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Reliability: Be reliable and dependable, consistently meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Work Term: Permanent: Work on a permanent basis, with regular hours and a stable schedule.
  • Work Language: English: Possess excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week: Work a standard 40-hour week, with regular breaks and time off.
