Part-Time Elementary Education Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Elementary Teacher/Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with students, teaching language and social studies, and helping others build their skills in these areas.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field, with some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to Grade 8 level. Strong English written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time, are essential for this position.

As an Interactive Coach, you will work directly with students, teaching up to three students at a time at different levels, following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies. You will also be responsible for filling in post-lesson notes, completing daily student communication updates, and maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.

In this role, you will play a key part in helping students develop their self-confidence and self-esteem, and will be rewarded with smiling faces and high-fives during every shift. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field

Working Hours:

  • Evenings
  • Monday to Friday
  • Saturday availability
