About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Recreation Therapy Worker | Bus Driver to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in implementing our established Recreation Therapy Program, focusing on geriatric residents and short-stay clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents to/from their programs, leading engaging leisure/recreation therapy activities and facilitating customized group sessions.
  • Drive residents on outings, providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for our community members.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized recreation therapy plans.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
