Liquor Store Supervisor Job Description
At LIQUOR PLUS, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our liquor store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail or liquor store environment
- Basic security clearance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
