Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the design, documentation, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement effective project management methodologies and procedures to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare proposals and reports, and provide technical expertise to clients.
  • Lead the management of Structural Engineering projects, including financial controls, project scheduling, and client relationship management.
  • Analyze complex data to inform strategic project directions and optimize engineering solutions.
  • Develop innovative, cost-effective solutions to intricate engineering challenges, ensuring technical integrity and quality of engineering designs.
  • Supervise and guide a team of technicians in the preparation of intricate working drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Foster a client-focused approach, prioritizing customer service excellence and ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Structural Engineering, with a strong background in project management and technical skills.
  • On path to registration or currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience with design software such as SAFI, Structure Point, WoodWorks, and Microsoft.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
