About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer to join our team at ITPS (Canada) Ltd. as a key member of our engineering department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, technologists, and engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Systems Development and Design
    • Develop and conduct computer simulations of aerospace vehicles, systems, and components to optimize performance and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions for complex aerospace challenges.
  • Project Coordination and Management
    • Coordinate ground and flight tests of aircraft and spacecraft to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including manuals and reports, to ensure accurate and timely communication with stakeholders.
    • Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a strong background in systems development, leadership, and project management.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
    • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools and technologies.
