About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Liquorville Sunridge. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Handle money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and ensure that all transactions are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Scan Items: Accurately scan products and maintain a high level of accuracy in order to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products and answering questions.
  • Monitor Entrances and Exits: Ensure that all entrances and exits are secure and that customers are aware of our store policies and procedures.
  • Verify Age: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products, and ensure that all sales are made in accordance with our store policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
