Job Summary

DC Logistic Alberta Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our logistics team.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal vehicle performance.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and any other relevant certifications or licenses.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
