Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled In Room Dining Server to join our team at Autograph Collection/Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests in the comfort of their own rooms.

Responsibilities

  1. Set tables, trays according to type of food ordered and the hotel's service standards.
  2. Accurately record, pre-check, and pick up all food and beverage orders.
  3. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
  4. Responsible for cleaning and removing the trolleys/trays from guest rooms and corridors.
  5. Serve guests their food and beverage in a prompt, courteous manner as per the standard sequence of service.
  6. Present physical and accurate checks to guests and complete the payment process.
  7. Have a full knowledge of the food & beverage items & their specifications, menu prices, ingredients, and style of service.
  8. Report guest complaints immediately to the supervisors and ensure follow-up is performed with the guest.
  9. Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
  10. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, chinaware, glassware, etc., throughout the day.
  11. Report cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor.
  12. Assist in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment.
  13. Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
  14. Ensure proper appearance and grooming while on duty.
  15. Ensure to have minimum wastage and breakage.
  16. Ensure communication between Kitchen, Order taker, and service team members.
  17. Monitor operating supplies, equipment, and reduce spoilage and wastage successfully.
  18. Respond to GXP requests to stock and replace missing bar cart items; liquor, snacks, glassware, menus, etc.
  19. Deliver amenities to guest rooms prior to arrival.
  20. Deliver Ice to guest rooms prior to arrival.
  21. Inspect and clean the bar cart in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.
  22. Maintain, track, and submit bar cart usage to the front desk for billing.
  23. Responsible for maintaining the bar cart storage area in terms of par stock, rotating stock, organization, and cleanliness.
  24. Ensure products on bar cart are not expired and take the proper procedure to remove those products as necessary.
  25. Properly complete, maintain, and track inventory in assigned storerooms; notifying the department head when ordering is necessary.
  26. Perform any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as requested by Supervisors.
