We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our manufacturing plant in the Eastern Townships. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, sales, marketing, accounting, human resources, and labour relations.
- Supervise the entire business operations of the plant to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Support and develop the management team, composed of a dozen highly motivated and qualified professionals.
- Define short-, medium-, and long-term objectives in conjunction with the Regional Director of Operations to contribute to the development of the company's policies and programs.
- Proudly represent the company at conferences, business meetings, and other corporate events.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Work with Senior Leadership to implement strategic initiatives that will catalyze the achievement of the company's ambitions.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a strategic management position.
- Solid background in managing labour relations in a union environment.
- Bilingual (English and French).
- Any combination of relevant training and experience will be considered.
