We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team at Huron University College. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors on campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement security measures to protect property and control access to sites
  • Check in students and confirm their residence status
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Perform security checks and liaise with students, customers, and the public
  • Ensure site safety and emergency procedures are followed
  • Enforce compliance to company policies and procedures
  • First aid and emergency response
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment
Requirements
  • Ontario Security Guard License
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Physical demands include excessive walking and standing
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability
