Job Title: A&D Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced A&D Sales Specialist to join our team at DMC Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with top-tier architects, interior designers, and specification writers in the Greater Toronto area (GTA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in the A&D market.
  • Manage large project opportunities from initial planning stages to project completion, ensuring our products are specified and maintain a preferential position.
  • Develop and maintain a regional blueprint, identifying and prioritizing key accounts, architectural firms, and project opportunities to maximize market impact.
  • Track and update project specifications, ensuring all relevant data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and product presentations to educate architects and designers, enhancing their understanding of our offerings.
  • Provide samples for commercial projects, regularly update architectural firm libraries with the latest samples and literature, and make regular onsite sales visits.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, with a proven ability to discover, define, and grow market opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in account development, planning, and driving sales growth.
  • Ability to identify key decision-makers and develop strong customer relationships.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills, with the creativity to develop win/win solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities, with a focus on executing the sales process effectively.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with CRM systems.
