About the Role:
As a Backend Software Engineer at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA, you will be part of the Global Banking Technology & Operations team, delivering day-to-day services to Global Banking & Investor Solutions Business Units and their clients. Your primary focus will be on contributing to a global project impacting financial institutions and large corporations worldwide, the "20022 Project," which aims to implement a new format for payment messages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test new features, including making architectural decisions and producing documentation.
- Present developed features to stakeholders and product owners, gathering feedback and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Ensure software solutions meet internal standards and provide operational support as needed.
- Occasionally perform Level 3 support during overnight shifts or on-duty.
- Manage long-term projects and serve as the main point of contact for multiple stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies.
- Experience with Java, Spring, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of software security practices and testing methodologies.
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certifications.
