Job Title: Education Program Coordinator

Job Type: Summer Student

Location: Remote (with occasional travel)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Education Program Coordinator to join our team at the CWB Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering education programs that promote awareness and education of welding to encourage more individuals to explore careers in welding and other skilled trades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and disseminate internal and external materials related to program planning and delivery
  • Liaise with host organizations to collect signed documentation and coordinate program logistics
  • Assist with program marketing and promotion activities
  • Research events and activities in defined regions to identify opportunities to deliver CWBWF programs
  • Enter program data into various databases using CRM and Microsoft Office suite
  • Act as CWBWF representative contact during program delivery and events
  • Oversee program delivery at each program location, supporting host organizations as needed
  • Compile program statistics and reports for Program Manager

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in welding, welding technology, or a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Teams, including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year customer service experience, plus project management experience or knowledge
  • Bilingualism in English and French
  • Project management experience or related courses
  • Experience in database management systems
  • Knowledge of skilled trades, including apprenticeship
