Job Title: Research Manager

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly skilled Research Manager to support our research activities.

Job Summary:

The Research Manager will oversee all research study operations, including collaborating with study investigators and stakeholders, managing human resources, providing fiscal management, and monitoring key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with study investigators and stakeholders to ensure successful research outcomes
  • Manage all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, hiring, training, and daily supervision of staff
  • Provide fiscal management and support the reporting obligations associated with each grant
  • Monitor key performance indicators and support quality and safety initiatives
  • Coordinate and facilitate current and new research projects
  • Assist in writing new grants and protocols
  • Adhere to and meet REB and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of clinical trials, including multi-site projects
Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in a clinical research-related field and at least three years of clinical research operations experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

The candidate will have a good understanding of the Canadian and U.S. grant funding landscape and experience in managing multi-site studies. Specific experience in Health Canada regulated clinical trials is a major asset.

The candidate will possess superior leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in software applications such as Access, Excel, and REDCap.

Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language are an asset.
