Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Holy Chuck-St Clair. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that our high standards of quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our menu and quality standards.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that our kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
