The COGIR Immobilier Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Care Manager Assistant to join their team at Le Havre des Cantons, a private seniors' residence. Located in a vibrant and culturally rich area, this residence offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.

Job Summary:

The Care Manager Assistant plays a vital role in the planning and monitoring of activities related to the care and well-being of residents. As a key member of the health services team, you will contribute to ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations related to the certification of private seniors' residences.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between external stakeholders, including doctors, pharmacists, CLSC, and CISSS, to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and monitoring of residents, updating work routes as needed to reflect their individual needs.
  • Collaborate in the staffing process by ensuring the reception, training, and integration of new employees in your sector.
  • Participate in staffing and billing analysis to optimize health services efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure accuracy in data entry for various work routes in Symo.
  • In the absence of the Health Services Manager, take charge of communication and maintain the bond of trust with residents, their families, and loved ones.
  • Develop and maintain protocols for prevention and appropriate care of residents.
  • Plan human resources and ensure timely replacement of care staff as needed.
  • Practice while respecting laws, standards, and the values of residents and their beliefs.
  • Provide health and wellness care to maintain and restore health, prevent disease, and respond to emergency situations.
  • Work closely with the Health Services Manager to supervise and mobilize the work of registered and/or auxiliary nurses and resident attendants.

Requirements:

  • Degree in nursing (DEC) or a professional studies diploma (DEP) in healthcare assistance, nursing.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
  • Member of the OIIAQ.
  • Up-to-date general first aid CPR/AED training.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in nursing.
  • Comfort using computer tools.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Status: Temporary, full-time position.

Job Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., every other weekend.
