Career Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Substance Use Clinician, Indigenous Health to join our team in Burnaby, B.C. The successful candidate will provide culturally sensitive care to individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health issues. This role requires strong clinical skills, knowledge of Indigenous cultural practices, and the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial screening, intake, client assessment, treatment recommendations, and follow-up support to clients and their families
- Develop and implement recovery-oriented treatment plans
- Facilitate client utilization of community services
- Provide education to clients and their families about substance use and mental health issues

Essential Qualifications
A Master's degree in a related field, such as Counselling Psychology or Social Work, and two years of recent experience working with clients and families affected by substance use and mental health issues. Knowledge of Indigenous health approaches, protocol, and cultural issues is essential. Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association and a valid B.C. Driver's License are also required.
