Job Title: Senior Vice President, Construction Specialist

At Hastings Utilities Contracting LTD, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Vice President, Construction Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

This is a senior leadership role that requires the ability to allocate resources, coordinate work across regions, establish financial and administrative controls, and formulate policies and programs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and be a team player.

In addition to these skills, the successful candidate will also have experience in managing budgets, delegating authority, and creating optimal working conditions for middle managers and directors.

As a Senior Vice President, Construction Specialist, you will represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions, ensuring that our interests are represented effectively.

We are looking for someone who is confident, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of achievement in a similar role and be able to demonstrate their expertise in construction management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  2. Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  3. Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
  4. Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  5. Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
  6. Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate necessary authority and create optimum working conditions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal awareness and team player.
  • MS Office skills.
