About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Food Service Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this vital position, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, while also training new team members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless operation of our kitchen.
  • SUPERVISE AND COORDINATE ACTIVITIES OF STAFF WHO PREPARE AND PORTION FOOD:
  • Train new team members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet high-quality standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays.
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks effectively.

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive free parking available on site and flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a food service establishment. A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is also required.

Work Setting

This role will be based in a food service establishment, with potential opportunities to work in other locations within our company. As a member of our team, you will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
