Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Management and Acquisitions Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a dynamic environment, responsible for managing market data services acquisition, contract management, vendor relationship service, and cost management.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience working with investment professionals, strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Access, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Data Services Acquisition: Source, negotiate, and administer contracts with vendors to ensure seamless data services.
  2. Contract Management: Renew contracts, add or modify services, and maintain accurate records.
  3. Cost Management: Collaborate with the Invoice Payment Team to manage vendor invoices, validate costs, and ensure accurate attribution.
  4. Compliance Management: Ensure service entitlements align with contract parameters.
  5. Internal Business Partner Management: Work with internal partners to process data sourcing requests, license requests, and implement technology solutions that meet company needs.
Candidate Requirements
  • 3-4 years' experience working with Investment Professionals (investment management information needs)
  • 1-2 years' experience in accounting or budgeting an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word (MS Access preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven interpersonal skills
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
