Pizza Pizza is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring high-quality food and service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure adequate inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
- Hire and manage food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customer complaints and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports to management
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required.
Requirements:- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in restaurant or food services management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
