About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Teranorth Construction & Engineering Limited. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials such as wood, steel, and other materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Install and fit windows, doors, stairs, and other components, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
  • Supervise and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion and quality of work.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, and maintain records of expenses and inventory.
  • Maintain and repair existing structures, including residences, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work long hours.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
