Job Description

The Sales Associate will be responsible for supporting the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and initiatives. This role requires maintaining excellent customer service, effective communication, product knowledge, and appropriate selling techniques. The Sales Associate will maintain company standards of merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing while ensuring a new and clean store and backroom environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Be aware of customer activity and respond promptly with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
2. Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
3. Effectively communicate the value and quality of our merchandise while sharing current promotions and offering solutions for out-of-stock items when necessary.
4. Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns effectively.
5. Demonstrate suitable selling skills to positively impact conversion.
6. Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap while educating customers on the benefits of our loyalty program.
7. Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented.
8. Follow company standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
9. Support and maintain a neat, clean, and organized stockroom while adhering to a customer-ready environment and safety requirements.
10. Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standard.
11. Guarantee company assets by adhering to all Loss Prevention procedures.
12. Inform Store Leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and associates.
13. Contribute focused efforts towards achievement of store goals.
14. Exhibit flexibility by processing stock as needed.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous retail experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old.

Skills and Behaviors:
Excellent customer engagement, time management, organizational skills, ability to work in a team environment, adaptability, and flexibility to meet business needs.
