Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Alps Welding Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines and gas welding machines
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
