Adecco Canada is currently hiring a detail-oriented and reliable Mail Processing Specialist to join our client's team in Richmond Hill, Ontario. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of mail using specialized machinery.

This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with zero errors. The candidate must be able to operate and comply with privacy laws, ensure all correct inserts, no duplication of printouts, and maintain strict quality controls.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interpret and follow written instructions at all levels. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with machinery, this may be the opportunity for you.

  • Estimated Salary: $42,240 - $56,640 per annum (based on 40 hours/week and $21.00/hour)

Responsibilities:
  • Set up mail inserting equipment in accordance with job instructions.
  • Loading the correct components onto the machine per job.
  • Performing regular and detailed quality checks on all components and finished envelopes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Recording/reconciling daily work as per job instructions.
  • Ensuring related procedures are followed within guidelines.
  • Escalating any non-conformance for jobs or schedule.
  • Consistently adhering to applicable Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Performing basic machine maintenance to maintain proper machine performance, general housekeeping within the work area.
  • Returning unused materials back to the correct locations.
  • Maintaining an organized stock staging area.
Qualifications:
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
  • Proficient in the use of electric and manual pallet trucks, as well as sealing equipment.
  • Strong ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer skills for completing work tasks and documentation.
  • Demonstrates the ability to adjust effectively in a dynamic and continuously changing work environment.
  • Capable of identifying opportunities for process enhancement and communicating suggestions to the Team Leader.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and perform tasks independently as needed.
