We are a leading provider of roofing services in the industry, and we are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Roofing Specialist will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, single-ply roofing systems, and metal roofs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and be able to work at heights, in noisy environments, and outdoors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair roofing systems using various materials, including asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
  • Install and replace roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles.
  • Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
  • Instruct apprentices in the art of roofing and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in roofing.
  • Work site environment: At heights, noisy, outdoors.
  • Work setting: Various locations, commercial, industrial.
  • Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, large workload, work under pressure.
  • Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
