Job Description

Job Summary:

Maarut Inc is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with intermediate experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business analysis principles and be able to apply them to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive business analysis services to clients with diverse business and technological needs.
  • Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements and gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements.
  • Translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions.
  • Experience with a wide range of methods, tools, techniques, programming languages, and technologies.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:
  • Experience in integration of commercially available API design and implementation.
  • Experience with Spring Framework, IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.x, JSP, and React.
  • Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation (such as Google Analytics and Crystal Reports).
Skill Set Requirements:Technical Experience:
  • Knowledge of theory and principles of systems design and development, programming concepts, and languages, and related methods, techniques, practices, and standards.
  • Experience in integration of commercially available API design and implementation.
  • Experience with Spring Framework, IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.x, JSP, and React.
  • Database experience: Oracle and Open Source DB.
  • Hands-on experience with CSS.
  • Experience with responsive development and HTML5.
  • Deep understanding and experience with methods and principals coding for mobile devices.
  • Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation (such as Google Analytics and Crystal Reports).
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Standards and AODA Compliancy levels.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Wireframes, Use Cases, and User Stories.
Business Analyst Experience:
  • Experience and actual deliverables with a Service-Oriented design related projects.
  • Understanding of systems environments, business analysis, and change management in projects or programs related to integrated multi-ministries government services.
  • Knowledge and experience to ensure compliance with appropriate public sector, industry, and international standards on security, privacy, and accessibility.
  • Ability to assist with the security issues that could impact developed front-end and integrated systems.
Project Experience:
  • Experience with Driver and Vehicle Service Ontario portal services.
  • Exposure to Architectural documents for ACT and ARB.
  • Experience with Canada Post module and Payment Gateways.
