Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver Patient-Centered Care: Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Assess and Evaluate Resident Needs: Conduct thorough assessments to identify resident needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Implement and Evaluate Care Plans: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness in meeting resident needs.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Ensure Resident Safety and Comfort: Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, including timely and safe transfers and discharges.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the safe and effective management of medications and supplies, including protocols for controlled substances.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent, current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses, and current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Computer and Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and ability to use electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
- Medical Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation and regulations.
- Clearance and Screening: Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
