Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Baked Goods: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Special Orders: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays, and fulfill special orders to meet customer demands.
  • Cuisine Specialties: Develop and maintain expertise in Turkish cuisine and other specialty baked goods.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced bakery environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to safety and security protocols.
  • Physical Demands: Possess the ability to distinguish between colors, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
