Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing sales staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

  • Manage a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high sales performance
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, processing returns and resolving customer issues in a timely manner
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to team members to ensure efficient store operations
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales associates, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment, promoting a positive culture and fostering a sense of community among team members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Motivate and lead sales staff to achieve sales targets, promote products, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, processing returns and resolving customer issues in a timely manner
  • Operational Excellence: Establish work schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient store operations to maximize sales potential
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions and drive sales growth
  • Team Development: Supervise and coordinate activities of sales associates, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate sales teams to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prepare reports and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
