Job Summary
The Physiotherapist will work as a member of the interdisciplinary EMP team, providing quality care to patients and families by promoting, maintaining, and/or restoring functional performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide physiotherapy services to patients and families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote independence and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor and/or Master's Degree of Science in Physiotherapy or an equivalent.
- Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of New Brunswick and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
- Knowledge of the target population of Extra-Mural Services and available community services.
- Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License and good driving record.
- Current CPR Level C certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently as a member of the team and possess leadership and coaching skills.
- High regard for confidentiality.
