Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Child Care Professional to join our team at Laura Scheim. As a Family Child Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to children in a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring the well-being and safety of the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized living space.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to ensure a tidy and comfortable environment.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring the children receive a balanced and healthy diet.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their transportation needs are met.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a listening ear and a comforting presence.
  • Help children with homework, promoting their academic success and confidence.
  • Work Term: Permanent
