Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Coordinator to join our team at Randstad Canada. As an Account Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling customer relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a working relationship with established customers
  • Provide current pricing and discount structure
  • Provide samples and technical data to customers
  • Maintain transaction records on customers and their specific issues
  • Attend and participate in company and supplier sales meetings
  • Participate in technical groups to develop product knowledge
  • Control inventory levels, coordinate orders to satisfy customer orders
  • Meet with established customers to sell company products and services
  • Explain company products and services and demonstrate and/or display products
  • Obtain and renew sales orders, arrange delivery, handle correspondence as required
  • Develop a working relationship with company personnel to ensure customer needs and issues are addressed
  • Provide customer service and inventory personnel with specific customer information needed to expedite orders and service customers
  • Assist in the planning of own short- and long-term goals
  • Schedule customer visits 1-2 weeks in advance
  • Enter all customer dynamics information into Salesforce.com following a customer visit
Requirements
  • University degree and two (2) years of specialized training in a related field (i.e. chemistry, sales) and two (2) years of outside sales experience is required
  • Must be self-motivated, have the ability to relate well to people and possess good communication skills
  • Must have excellent people skills to interact with internal and external customers and vendors
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently, show initiative in addition to strong written and oral communication skills
  • He or she must be a team player who is customer oriented
  • Strong computer skills are required
  • Bilingualism is essential (French-English)
  • SAP experience an asset
