About the Role
KF Aerospace is seeking a skilled Aircraft Services Technician to join our team. As an AST, you will be responsible for the removal, inspection, and repair of aircraft interior components, including seats, trims, carpet, soundproofing, lighting, cabinetry, galleys, and bins.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove, inspect, and repair aircraft interior components
- Work on a variety of aircraft types, including corporate, commercial, and military aircraft
- Collaborate with a team of experienced technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Participate in a 3-year on-the-job training program to become a Certified Aircraft Interior Technician
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical fitness and ability to work from heights
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in small spaces, and lift parts up to 50 lbs
- Responsible for full aircraft washing, which requires working with chemicals, degreasers, respirators, and latex gloves
- Ability to work and communicate well with a team
- Valid driver's license
- Prior customer service experience is preferred
