Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nail Specialist to join our team at Essence Beauty Salon Inc. As a key member of our salon, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nail care services to our clients.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position offering 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing gel and acrylic nail extensions, manicures, pedicures, and other nail-related services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply or remove artificial nails and nail art
  • Clean, trim, and polish nails
  • Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions
  • Provide therapeutic foot massage
  • Perform cashiering duties
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A college diploma or non-university certificate in a related field (1-2 years)
  • At least 1 year of experience in the beauty industry, preferably in nail care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Working Conditions

You will be working in a busy salon environment, which can be noisy and has strong odours. You will also need to be able to relocate within the salon as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000-$60,000 per annum, based on experience. Additionally, you will receive free parking and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.
