Job Overview

The Finance Director at JAN-PRO of Southwestern Ontario oversees day-to-day finance operations and implements strategy as directed by the President.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare annual accounts for audit and statutory reporting purposes.
  • Supervise the Payroll Coordinator and Accountant to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Manage daily financial transactions, including payroll, invoicing, and account reconciliations.
  • Complete tax returns and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Provide financial support to the President in strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement financial systems and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with department directors to promote financial literacy and effective budgeting practices.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to aid business growth and resource allocation.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders for effective communication and issue resolution.
Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
