Role Summary: As a Repair Dispatch Manager at U-Haul, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of our extensive fleet of vehicles. Key responsibilities include coordinating with various stakeholders, scheduling mobile repair technicians, monitoring equipment, and ensuring high-quality work is performed on our rental equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with centres, repair shops, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee transfer drivers and work closely with the Roadside Assistance Team.
  • Organize maintenance campaigns and initiatives to enhance overall vehicle health.
  • Maintain relationships with service providers and review repair records to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on call and possess general mechanical knowledge.
  • Multi-unit-style management experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
  • Reasonable and predictable attendance.
