About Us:

Kalwood Farms Ltd. is a dynamic and growing agricultural company seeking a highly skilled and motivated Agricultural Specialist to join our team.

Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to assist in the cultivation, harvesting, and maintenance of our orchards and crops. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and maintain orchards and crops, including planting, pruning, and fertilizing.
• Assist in the harvesting and packing of fruits and vegetables.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and sprayers.
• Examine produce for quality and readiness for market.
• Clean out areas that harbor pests and diseases.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, but also collaborate with other team members as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in agriculture or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree not necessary.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wet environments.
• Strong physical stamina, including ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work at heights.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
