At Realstar Management, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team.
We are a fully integrated management firm providing a range of investment and property management services. With over 50 years of experience, we have established ourselves as one of Canada's largest multi-residential asset managers.
We manage over 22,000 rental apartments in six provinces with an asset value exceeding $5 billion. Our headquarters is located in Toronto, and we are part of the Realstar Group, which has over $9 billion of multi-family, hospitality, and alternative real estate assets under management.
This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our apartment buildings. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for:
- General cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, elevators, stairwells, windows, and amenity spaces such as laundry rooms, social rooms, swimming pools, and recreation rooms
- Thorough cleaning of vacant suites, including appliances, walls, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, and balconies
- Exterior cleaning duties, including general maintenance of underground garages, parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios, and rooftops
You will also be expected to report any serious deficiencies regarding curb appeal or safety hazards to the Resident Manager.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to lift and push heavy objects.
