About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Perception Algorithms & State Estimation Engineer to join our team at Outrider. As a key member of our perception team, you will be responsible for designing and developing state estimation solutions that run online on our autonomous vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop state estimation solutions using camera, lidar, and/or radar data
  • Work within the perception team to leverage data and collaborate with other teams to deliver solutions ready for deployment on the autonomous vehicle
  • Mentor and guide other team members to help achieve overall perception goals
  • Develop and deploy algorithms in robotics using modern C++ and Python
Requirements
  • Experience developing and deploying state-of-the-art state estimation solutions for real-time applications in robotics
  • Experience building mapping and calibration solutions
  • Experience working with camera, lidar, and/or radar data in autonomy applications
  • Skilled with modern C++ and Python
  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art best practices and research in motion planning and/or controls
